Terms and Conditions
  • Whilst every care is taken to ensure the safety of the dogs undergoing treatment- all dogs are still the responsibility of their owners.

 

  • Ensure you toilet your dog when you get out of the car to reduce the risk of fowling in the premises or more importantly in the water.

 

  • A surcharge of £60 will be made for dogs that foul the pool. This is to cover cost of draining and cleaning the pool, as we will have to cancel further treatments that day.

 

  • Individual sessions must be paid for in full on the day of treatment prior to the session.

 

  • Please do not feed your dog 3 hours prior to the session or for 1 hour after the session. (hydrotherapy only)

 

  • Sessions will be charged in full if an appointment is broken or cancelled without 24 hours notice.

 

  • Hydrotherapy/Massage/Laser treatment (both pool and aquatic treadmill) dogs will not be treated without the prior authorisation of their veterinary surgeon.

 

  • In cold or inclement weather ensure your dog has a coat to keep them warm and dry after their treatment.

 

  • Kernow Paws Rehabilitation reserves the right to cancel any session; i.e. power failure, maintenance or illness.

 

  • Dogs with infections or contagious conditions will not be treated. Please cancel your appointment with at least 24 hours notice, or as soon as you are aware of the illness.

 

  • Kernow Paws Rehabilitation cannot be held responsible for damage or loss to vehicles or personal property, whilst on company premises.

 

  • Please wear sensible non slip soles during your visit, as the floors can be very slippery

 

  • Splashing is common from the dogs especially in the pool.

 

  • Owners are required to notify us if their dogs condition appears worse/ deteriorates, or if their vet advises to suspend or stop their treatment.

 

  • The length of treatment initially may vary from only a few minutes to 30 + minutes as your dog’s condition and fitness improves

 

  • Dog’s MUST be kept on a lead at all times whilst on company premises, unless otherwise advised by a staff member.

 

  • It is the owner’s responsibility to clean up after your pet (bin and bags provided if needed).
